Do Romania passport holder have to pay stamp fee for Vietnam visa

The stamping fee is the fee you have to pay at the Vietnam airport to get an official visa stamped into your passport. Stamp fee must be in cash, no credit cards accepted.

At the moment, there are two options to get Vietnam visa:

The visa on arrival option is available for Romanians to get a 1 month visa for Vietnam. While the evisa option is available for Romanians to get a Vietnam visa from 1 month to 3 months.

When Romanians choose visa on arrival, they do not have to pay $25 stamp fee at Vietnam airport. Moreover, visa on arrival is available in urgent case, it takes 2-4 working hours to arrange.

In order to apply for visa on arrival, please prepare your scan passport to upload the website, your entry date and your airport. Please note that visa on arrival can enter by airport only.

Evisa can enter Vietnam from 13 airports, 16 land border gates and 13 sea border gates. However, you must determine the border crossings or the arrival airport before departure. It is not allowed to change port after applying for an e-Visa. Before apply you should prepare scan passport and photo size passport, passport page need to take clearly and full information, the required photo must be new and not cropped from the passport photo
