Son La inaugurated the longest glass bridge in the world.

Vietnam brought a  new charm to travelers with a head for heights with the descent of a glass-floor bridge that soared 150 meters above lush jungle.

Bach Long Glass Bridge was built in a tourist and resort complex in Muong Sang Township, Moc Chau District, Son La Province. Since early 2021, construction of  the bridge has  started  with a total capital of VND 773 billion. With a total length of 632 m (2,073 ft), the Bach Long Glass Bridge is 290 m (950 ft) long over a cliff and  342 m (1,122 ft) long over a cliff. The distance from the platform to the bottom of the chasm below the height of the bridge is 150 m (490 ft). The width of the platform is 2.4 m (7.9 ft), of which the top of the cliff is 1.5 m (4.9 ft) wide. The bridge deck is combined with three layers of  Saint Gobain tempered glass, the total thickness of these three layers is 40mm (1.6 inch), which makes it strong enough to support up to 450 people at a time. The  bridge is about half the height of the Eiffel Tower and 1.5 times the length of London's Tower Bridge.

This is the third glass bridge in Vietnam, after Love Glass Bridge (Son La) and Rong May Glass Bridge (Lai Chau), and is considered the longest glass bridge in the world, surpassing a 526-meter bridge in Guangdong, China .On the bridge, visitors can enjoy the splendor of nature while enjoying an exceptional view of the vegetation in the gorge  below.
